Allowlisting Clozd in Proofpoint

Overview

Follow these steps to allowlist Clozd email domains in your Proofpoint email security system using IP addresses, domains, or combinations of both, through the Organizational Safe Lists (Enterprise) or Sender Lists (Essentials). This helps ensure reliable delivery of emails from Clozd, such as contributor invitations, interview notifications, reports, and feedback surveys.

Step-by-step allowlisting instructions

Allowlisting steps in Proofpoint Essentials

  1. Log into the Proofpoint Dashboard as an administrator.
  2. Navigate to Security Settings > Email > Sender Lists.
  3. Add trusted domains (e.g., @example.com) and/or specific IP addresses to the Safe Sender List.
  4. Click Save.

 Allowlisting steps in Proofpoint Enterprise

  1. Go to the Email Protection tab in the admin console.
  2. Select Spam Detection > Organizational Safe List.
  3. Click Add and define the criteria (Sender Address, Sender Hostname, and/or IP Address).
  4. Set action to Deliver Now or Allow to bypass filters.

Clozd domains to allow

  • In the allowlist or sender filtering section, add the following domains:
    • clozd.com
    • notifications.clozd.com
    • invitations.clozd.com
    • survey.clozd.com
    • salesfeedback.clozd.com
    • Any domains you have set up for Clozd to send on your behalf

Note: Depending on your Proofpoint setup, you may need to enter each domain individually, .

Clozd IPs to allow

  • In the allowlist or sender filtering section, add the following IPs:
    • 50.31.205.167/32 (50.31.205.167) [Interview, Flex, Survey]
    • 50.31.205.168/32 (50.31.205.168) [Interview, Flex, Survey]
    • 50.31.156.96/27 (50.31.156.96 - 127) [Transactional]
    • 104.245.209.192/26 (104.245.209.192 - 255) [Transactional]
    • 50.31.205.204/30 (50.31.205.204 - 207) [Transactional]

Additional recommendations

  • Release quarantined messages:
    • Check your spam or quarantine folder within Proofpoint.
    • Release any messages from Clozd and mark them as safe.
  • Post-delivery scanning:
    • If your organization uses Proofpoint's URL defense or other post-delivery scanning features, consider excluding Clozd domains from link rewriting or URL inspection to prevent deliverability issues.
