Salesloft integration overview

The Clozd + Salesloft integration brings your Salesloft calls onto each deal in Clozd, then pairs them with candid buyer interviews. Revenue teams see both what happened in the sales cycle and the real reasons they won or lost.

This article contains the following sections:

What is the Salesloft integration?

The Salesloft integration connects what was said during the sales process with what buyers shared after the deal closed.

Clozd imports your Salesloft Conversations calls and transcripts, matches each call to the right deal using your CRM opportunities, and uses AI to pull decision drivers and supporting quotes out of every call. Clozd then puts those findings next to what buyers said in win-loss interviews, so you can see where your team's read on a deal matched the buyer's and where it missed.

The integration is read-only. Clozd doesn't write anything back to Salesloft, and nothing is added inside the Salesloft app.

Salesloft integration benefits

Analyze Salesloft calls like buyer feedback

Imported calls are analyzed and summarized the same way as interviews, using your program's own Decision Drivers, tags and Insight Gems. You get insight across your pipeline, including deals where no interview was completed.

Find the blind spots in your sales calls

When a deal has both Salesloft calls and a Clozd interview, Clozd compares them. You see which decision factors came up in both, and which ones buyers only shared after the decision was made. Across many deals, that shows you what your sales calls keep missing.

Find the right person to interview

Clozd uses talk time from your Salesloft calls to find the buyer contacts who were most involved in each deal. That means less time chasing reps for contact details, and more interviews with the right people.

Before you start

To set up the integration, you need:

Clozd matches calls to deals through these shared CRM IDs. Salesloft calls are linked to an account rather than an opportunity, so Clozd follows the call's Salesloft account to its CRM account, then to that account's CRM opportunities, then to the matching Clozd deal. A call on a Salesloft account with no CRM ID can't be matched to a deal.

Salesloft integration setup

Setup takes a few minutes.

  1. Navigate to the Configuration tab in the Clozd Platform.
  2. Click the Settings tab and select the Integrations section.
  3. Find the Salesloft integration and click Connect.
  4. Click Sign into Salesloft, sign in to your Salesloft account and approve access for Clozd.
  5. Salesloft returns you to Clozd, where the integration shows as Connected.
  6. In the Clozd Platform, navigate to the Automations tab and click + Add Import Source.
  7. Find Salesloft and click Select.
  8. Click Next to preview the Salesloft calls that will be imported. If the preview looks right, click Confirm.
  9. Allow some time for calls to import and appear on your deals.

Connection status and reauthenticating

On the Salesloft integration settings page in Clozd (Configuration → Settings → Integrations, then Settings on the Salesloft tile), the integration shows as Connected when everything is working.

If the connection stops working, for example because access was revoked in Salesloft, the page shows "This integration is not valid." and Clozd admins get a notification. To fix it:

  1. Open the Salesloft integration settings page in Clozd.
  2. Click Reauthenticate.
  3. Sign in to your Salesloft account and approve access again.

Disconnecting the integration

  1. Open the Salesloft integration settings page in Clozd.
  2. Click Disconnect. Clozd stops importing Salesloft calls right away. Calls already imported stay on their deals.
  3. To also remove Clozd's access on the Salesloft side, revoke the Clozd app from your connected apps in Salesloft.

FAQs

  1. What Salesloft data does Clozd access?
Clozd reads conversations, transcripts, accounts and opportunities. Access is read-only, and Clozd never changes or adds data in Salesloft.
  2. How does Clozd know which deal a Salesloft call belongs to?
Clozd follows the call's Salesloft account to its CRM account ID, looks up that account's CRM opportunities, and picks the opportunity that was open on the date of the call. That opportunity's ID is matched to a Clozd deal. Salesloft must be synced to the same CRM as your Clozd deals for this to work.
  3. Why didn't a call attach to a deal?
The most common reasons: - The call's Salesloft account has no CRM ID, usually because that account isn't synced to your CRM. - The account had more than one open opportunity in Clozd on the date of the call. Clozd skips the call rather than risk attaching it to the wrong deal. - The matching opportunity isn't in Clozd yet. Clozd holds the call and attaches it automatically once the deal comes into Clozd.
  4. Who can see Salesloft data in Clozd?
Salesloft calls follow your existing deal permissions. A user only sees calls on deals they already have access to.
  5. Can I find deals that have Salesloft calls?
Create a filter and add this criterion:
Feedback Channel --> Includes --> Third Party
