API Imports & Exports

A data import API connection will allow your organization's CRM to integrate with Clozd to bring deal and participant data into the Clozd Platform.

The data export will allow you to export published win-loss feedback to the software of your choosing. Clozd will provide the schema in a JSON file containing all of the necessary metadata received from the win-loss feedback, such as the summary, decision drivers, quotes, etc.

Overview

A core part of Clozd’s mission is to help your organization gain a comprehensive understanding of why you win and lose—across your entire sales pipeline, not just from a limited set of interviews or surveys. To make that possible, it's important to integrate your CRM with the Clozd Platform so that your instance accurately reflects all relevant sales data.

While our Salesforce integration supports this out of the box, we recognize that not all organizations use Salesforce. That’s where our data import API comes in—it enables integration with other CRMs, such as HubSpot and Microsoft Dynamics.

Configuration

Enable API Imports

In order to get API imports configured, reach out to your Clozd Program Manager or support@clozd.com and they will enable that setting for you.

API Tokens

Access tokens, used with the Clozd API, allow programmatic access to your data within the Clozd Platform.

Note: Do not share your access token with anyone who you don't want to have access to your data.

To locate your organization's API tokens/create a new API token within the Clozd Platform:

  1. Make sure the API Imports setting has been enabled for your organization.
  2. Click on your initials in the top-right corner of your Clozd Dashboard.
  3. Click Settings in the dropdown.

  4. Scroll down to the API Token section.
  5. Here you will see the Organization ID as well as the Program ID for each program your organization has established.
  6. (If applicable) Click the Create Access Token button.

Name your token (e.g., GPT Access) and confirm.

Note: You’ll only see your access token once—be sure to copy and store it securely before navigating away from the page. If lost, you’ll need to create a new one.

You will need these API tokens to input as headers in your API application of choice.
