Deals Tab

The Deals tab is where you can find the feedback provided by buyers and sellers for each of your published deals. 

This article contains the following sections:

 

Overview

The Deals tab shows every deal that has received feedback and been published for your organization. The feedback could consist of Buyer Interviews, Buyer Surveys, Sales Rep Interviews, or Sales Rep Surveys.

The Deals page is automatically sorted with the most recently published feedback at the top, but you can also sort the list by the deal, amount, outcome, type, or closed date.

Along with other tabs in the Clozd Platform, you can also apply filters to the Deals page to find a specific deal you are looking for. For instructions on setting up filters, see How to Navigate Filters.

Once you’ve found a deal you’d like to dive into, click on the deal, and you will then be taken to a page that looks like this:

Components of a Published Deal

Deals with survey feedback will contain metadata, decision drivers, and quotes. Deals with interview feedback will contain those same components as well as an interview summary and the interview transcription and/or audio recording.

 

Metadata

General information about the deal is located at the top of the page. We call this metadata. These fields include the deal’s closed date, primary competitor, product name, opportunity ID, amount, industry, etc. These are populated from a spreadsheet that was manually uploaded or from fields mapped through the CRM integration (see Salesforce Integration & Automation).

Summary

The summary is written by the consultant who conducted the interview. This is a high-level but thorough depiction of what transpired during the deal. If you don’t have time to read the entire interview, the summary is a great place to get a clear understanding of what happened.

Decision Drivers

The Decision Drivers section highlights the key factors that influenced the buyer’s final decision positively or negatively. Decision drivers with a double thumbs up or down represent the strongest influences on the buyer’s final decision. In the example below, several factors influenced the buyer’s decision, but the double thumbs down indicates that the primary reason for the loss was the support and service. Refer to the Decision Drivers page for a broader understanding of decision drivers.

Quotes

To the right of the decision drivers, you can read through direct quotes from the interviewee that give you a quick snapshot of that person’s feedback around each decision driver. If you’re looking for the quote associated with a specific decision driver, you can click on the decision driver to quickly pull up the quote.

Audio & Transcript

If you want to get more detail or read through the entire interview, the transcript is included at the bottom of the deal page. If you’re looking to learn more about the person’s feedback on a specific topic such as pricing or product, you can use the section headers to quickly find the appropriate section you are looking for.  

The audio files are automatically included in the deal. If you would like the audio files excluded from the deal, reach out to your Clozd consultant and they will delete the audio before the interview is published for your organization to see.

Comments

Comments can be useful to add important details or feedback specific parts of the deal, making it easier for others to understand the context and refer back to it later. They can be both public or private, depending if you want others in your organization to view them.

To view a comment, click on the icon next to the body of text.

To add a comment, highlight the portion that you want to add a comment to and click the button next to it.

You can also mention a person directly to bring their attention to a part of a deal. This will send that person an email notification.

Export Data

To export feedback from a published deal, click on the Download button at the top right corner of the page. This will download a PDF version of the deal page. The format of the export mirrors the format in the Clozd Platform.

Share a Deal

Clozd does not charge per user because we believe that win-loss data is most impactful to your organization when more people are consuming and applying the feedback. Thus, we have created the ability to easily share and send win-loss feedback to other people in your organization. At the top of the deal page, there is a Share Link icon. Clicking this icon will copy the URL to your clipboard so you can paste it into an email or message it to someone else within your organization. After clicking the link, the recipient will be taken directly to the Deal Page where they can review the entire deal. The recipient will need to log in to the Clozd Platform to navigate to other pages.

If you do not see the Share Link icon at the top of your Deal Page, it has been disabled by your organization’s admin.
